On November 29^th – 30^th, the meeting Wind Energy and Transmission: The South Dakota Landscape will be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The meeting will focus on wind and transmission issues relevant to South Dakota, including the following topics:

Why South Dakota offers remarkable opportunities for wind power

Transmission constraints to greater wind power development in the state

Possible solutions to South Dakota’s transmission constraints that would facilitate more wind energy in the region

Options for implementing transmission solutions and enhance leadership involvement in these efforts
